Our Crest

Our Crown represents the Queenship of the Blessed Mother Mary, who in all circumstances and in every way, leads us straight to her Son, Jesus Christ. May she guide DVC UNITED in all its missions.

Our Cross represents the burdens and struggles this life is sure to bring. But just at Simon of Cyrene assisted Christ in carrying His cross, so too may our cross be a reminder for all to lighten the load of our neighbors when ever they are in need.

Our Griffin, being half lion half eagle, represents great strength and majesty. Those who serve do so because of great strength and surely must reflect the majesty of our King, Christ Jesus.

Our heart is Luke 10:27…You shall love the Lord your God from your whole heart, and from your whole soul, and from all your strength, and from all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.

Our Chi Rho symbolizes the true status of Jesus as the Christ. DVC UNITED is founded on Christianity and all of its principles.
